Being Compassionate Project (BCP) in Kuala Selangor by IDWA and IDT

Alhamdulillah, on 18 December 2025, the Being Compassionate Project (BCP) went smoothly in Kuala Selangor. The program reached out to families in need and spread care and compassion in the community. The project was organized by Interactive Dakwah and Welfare Association (IDWA) together with Interactive Dakwah and Tarbiyah Association (IDT). A total of 29 families received food support, including rice, eggs, chickens, and other essential food items.

Preparations took place at Dawah Academy International Hall on 17 December 2025, where three volunteers, together with the lead of IDT Staff. They packed the food items from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Their teamwork ensured a smooth distribution the following day.

The distribution began at Masjid Raja Lumu at 11:00 am. Representatives from IDWA and IDT included Brother Naim, President of IDWA and General Manager of IDT, Brother Zakir, Treasurer of IDWA and HR and Finance IDT, and five other IDT staff. A total of 16 families received their food packs. The session was welcomed by Ustaz Luqman Hakim, Imam Pertama Masjid Raja Lumu, followed by a short remark from Brother Naim representing IDT. The morning session ended with the distribution of support by Brother Naim, representing IDWA and IDT, followed by a group photo involving all.

In the afternoon, the distribution continued at Kampung Sungai Sembilang, benefiting 13 more families. En Khalid, President of the Fishermen Association of Kampung Sungai Sembilang, was also present to support the program. The activities concluded around 3:00 pm. This session also ended with a group photo, with smiles shared by all.

We sincerely thank all donors for their generous contributions, which brought relief and hope to families facing challenges in their livelihoods at sea were affected. Thanks to all the amazing volunteers for helping with both packing food aids. Your support made this day possible. Every contribution, no matter how small, has a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. May this spirit of compassion continue, and may we be blessed with ongoing support to carry out future projects in serving and uplifting the community.
