PROACTIVE, PROGRESSIVE, PROFICIENT
Alhamdulillah, Interactive Dakwah and Tarbiyah (IDT), in collaboration with Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP), successfully hosted the 14th Batch of DawahPro Global from 27 October to 25 November 2025 at Dawah Academy International, Kuala Lumpur. This thirty-day international program brought together 23 participants from 14 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, Portugal, Uganda, Oman, South Africa, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, India, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and the Philippines, all united by a shared commitment to strengthen their da’wah skills and deepen their Islamic understanding.
The program began on 28 October with a city tour that introduced participants to Kuala Lumpur. They started at Masjid Jamek, where a mosque tour guide from ABIM-IOAC explained the history, architecture, and significance of the mosque, as well as its role in the early Muslim community and the development of Islam in the city. Participants not only observed but also learned how to conduct mosque tours for non-Muslims, practicing how to present Islamic practices, history, and culture in an engaging and informative way. They gained insights into Malaysia’s Islamic heritage, reflected on the spread of Islam in Southeast Asia, and explored the mosque as a living space for the community. Next, the group visited KLCC, the iconic landmark of Malaysia and a source of pride for its people, experiencing firsthand how modernity blends with culture and tradition. They then performed Zuhur at Masjid As-Syakirin, a serene mosque in the heart of the city. The city tour provided participants with more than sightseeing. They gained cultural exposure, historical knowledge, practical skills in da’wah and tour guiding, and a chance to connect and bond with fellow participants. It was an enriching experience that prepared them mentally, spiritually, and socially before beginning their intensive da’wah training.

Training commenced with a three-day Shariah Intelligence course led by Sheikh Nuruddeen Lemu and Sister Salatu Sule, equipping participants with foundational Shariah principles and an understanding of their higher objectives. The program continued under Brother Lim Jooi Soon, Ustaz Amin Yaacob, and Brother Ashraf Azhar, who guided the cohort through the full DawahPro curriculum, focusing on sound Islamic knowledge and practical da’wah skills. Through lessons, quizzes, assessments, fieldwork, and presentations, participants developed discipline, confidence, teamwork, and the ability to convey Islam with clarity and wisdom. A highlight of the program was the individual presentation session, where participants spoke with confidence and sincerity, demonstrating clear growth throughout the course. Awards were presented to the top performers:

The closing ceremony featured du’a, Qur’an recitation, the Student Representative Speech, award presentations, and certificate distribution. Best Presenter Brother Fasi also delivered a special presentation on Creator vs Creation, using the CVC method taught by Brother Lim, demonstrating how well participants had applied their training. In his closing remarks, Brother Lim reminded the cohort that their real da’wah mission continues in their families, workplaces, and communities, and encouraged them to carry the legacy of da’wah back to their countries. The 14th Batch of DawahPro Global was far more than a training program. It was a transformative journey of learning, growth, and self-discovery. Participants leave not only with knowledge and skills but with renewed purpose, strong confidence, and the commitment to represent Islam with wisdom, compassion, and integrity. They are now ready to inspire, lead, and make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
