IDT's Bulletin | Team IDT | 25 July 2025

WANGSA MAJU, 21 & 22 July 2025 – Interactive Dakwah and Tarbiyah (IDT) organized a special two-day training called Shari’ah Intelligence for VIPs at Dawah Academy International Hall, Kuala Lumpur, aimed at strengthening the knowledge and understanding of Muslim professionals.
Designed as a closed-door session, the programme gathered high-profile figures including academicians, shari’ah advisors, corporate leaders, and educators—each representing institutions that shape Malaysia’s religious, financial, and social landscapes. The goal? To offer critical, principled, and contextual knowledge of Islamic legal theory in a rapidly evolving world.
Guiding the programme was Sheikh Muhammad Nuruddeen Lemu, Director of Research & Training at Nigeria’s Islamic Education Trust (IET). Widely respected for his expertise in Usul al-Fiqh, Maqasid al-Shari’ah, and da’wah methodology, Sheikh Nuruddeen brought clarity and depth to some of the most misunderstood aspects of Islamic law today. His sessions went beyond theory, highlighting real-world applications of Qawa’id Fiqhiyyah (legal maxims), the ethics of differing opinions among scholars, and how Muslim professionals can engage confidently with contemporary challenges without compromising on the principles of Islam.

“Maqasid Shariah is serve for all. It is important to us to know sovereignty in life.”
— Sheikh Muhammad Nuruddeen Lemu

The vision is to build a network of leaders who are not only experts in their respective fields but also deeply grounded in principled Shari’ah literacy.
