Empowering Da’wah Leaders with Confidence and Clarity

Alhamdulillah, from 21 to 23 October 2025, the Training of Trainers 2025 course was successfully held at the Dawah Academy International Hall in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. The three-day program, which ran from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily, gathered 43 participants who were eager to strengthen their da’wah and communication skills. Designed for da’wah leaders, educators, and activists, the course aimed to help participants share Islam more effectively with wisdom, clarity, and confidence. Many people have valuable knowledge to share but struggle to express it clearly or connect with their audience. This program provided participants with the skills, techniques, and mindset to overcome those challenges. The training was conducted by Sheikh Nuruddeen Lemu, Director of Research and Training at the Da’wah Institute of Nigeria and Brother Lim Jooi Soon, President of Interactive Dakwah and Tarbiyah Association.

Among the participants were high-profile individuals and experienced educators. Ustaz Fitri Abdullah, the leader of PERKIM Selangor, and Brother Shah Kirit, President of Unity, joined the program. Lecturers from universities such as USIM and IIUM also attended. Their presence added depth to the discussions and allowed participants to benefit from a variety of perspectives and experiences. Throughout the training, participants engaged in discussions, interactive activities, and practical exercises. Each session encouraged teamwork, reflection, and active participation. Participants gained hands-on experience in delivering presentations, responding to questions, and applying effective communication strategies for da’wah. The program helped them develop confidence, clarity, and a stronger ability to share Islam in meaningful ways. By the end of the course, participants had acquired both knowledge and practical skills. They left motivated to represent Islam with sincerity, wisdom, and professionalism. The Training of Trainers 2025 served as a platform to cultivate future da’wah ambassadors who are equipped to carry the message of Islam with integrity and understanding. IDT hopes to continue offering programs that inspire, educate, and empower those committed to sharing the message of Islam.
