Alhamdulillah, on 18 and 19 October 2025, IDT successfully organized the Women’s Fiqh: Empowering Muslim Women course at the Dawah Academy International Hall in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. A total of 40 participants actively joined this two-day program, held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, eager to deepen their understanding of Islamic rulings, their rights, and their responsibilities as Muslim women. The course was led by Sister Salatu E. Sule, Director of Beyond Academic at New Horizon College in Minna, Nigeria. She shared her extensive knowledge and experience in education and da’wah, guiding participants through practical discussions and clear explanations about how Islam uplifts and protects women.

Throughout the sessions, participants explored key topics such as purity, prayer, family life, and personal conduct. The atmosphere was lively and engaging, with participants asking thoughtful questions and reflecting on how the principles of women’s fiqh apply in their daily lives. The interactive approach helped them appreciate the wisdom behind each ruling and understand how Islam promotes justice, compassion, and dignity for women. Many participants shared that the course gave them a renewed sense of clarity and confidence in practicing their faith. By the end of the two days, they not only gained knowledge but also developed a stronger commitment to applying what they had learned in their personal and community lives. Moving forward, IDT hopes to continue offering such meaningful courses that inspire women to seek knowledge, strengthen their faith, and become positive influences in their communities. May Allah reward all the participants and grant barakah in their pursuit of understanding Islam.
