Empowering Communities Through Knowledge
Alhamdulillah, Interactive Dakwah and Tarbiyah (IDT), in collaboration with Majlis Ugama Islam dan Adat Resam Melayu Pahang (MUIP), successfully conducted the 15th Batch of DawahPro Fundamental Orang Asli from 17 to 21 January 2026 at Dawah Academy International, Kuala Lumpur.
Over five days, 20 participants strengthened their understanding of Islam and developed confidence to share da’wah within their communities. Guided by Brother Lim Jooi Soon and Ustaz Amin Yaacob, sessions combined interactive lessons, quizzes, and group presentations, making learning practical, engaging, and enjoyable. The programme covered core Islamic principles, interfaith engagement, and effective ways to communicate Islam respectfully. Participants also explored contemporary issues commonly raised in discussions with non-Muslims, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to respond wisely.
A highlight of the programme was a group presentation session, where participants demonstrated creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm. Certificates were presented at the closing ceremony, which was attended by Tuan Haji Mohd Ali Bin Mat Dasir, Pengarah Bahagian Pengurusan dan Pembangunan Islam, and Brother Chris Lim Cheng Wei, Penolong Pegawai Hal Ehwal Islam Unit Pembangunan Modal Insan Bahagian Pengurusan Dan Pembangunan Islam. All participants received certificates of completion, and Nurul Aziana binti Bidi was additionally recognised as Best Student, earning a special certificate for her outstanding performance with a score of 97.1 percent.
In his closing speech, Brother Lim Jooi Soon, President and main trainer of IDT, reminded participants that the programme was the beginning of their da’wah journey, which continues in their families and communities. IDT hopes that each participant will carry their knowledge, confidence, and sincerity back to their villages, planting the seeds of da’wah for future generations. We also hope for support from everyone, and this effort does not stop here. With continued guidance and encouragement, the spirit of da’wah can grow even stronger.
