From 7 to 11 February 2026, the Interactive Dakwah and Tarbiyah Association (IDT), in collaboration with Majlis Ugama Islam dan Adat Resam Melayu Pahang (MUIP), successfully conducted the fourth intake of DawahPro Fundamental, specially designed for the Orang Asli community of Pahang at Wisma IDT, Kuala Lumpur. The five-day intensive program brought together 15 participants from various districts.
Impact and Transformation
Under the guidance of Brother Lim Jooi Soon and Ustaz Amin Yaacob, participants were trained to convey the message of Islam effectively and confidently. The program focused on practical skills, understanding core Islamic principles, and applying knowledge in real-life situations beyond memorization. On the final day, participants delivered individual presentations on themes such as Creator versus Creation (CvC) and Tazkirah. Many presented for the first time, demonstrating sincerity, courage, and growth gained during the program.
Key Program Highlights
- Active Learning and Assessment
Each session concluded with a short quiz to encourage focus and participation. Participants were evaluated based on quizzes, attendance, attitude, and presentations, fostering discipline, teamwork, and commitment.
- Comprehensive Da’wah Topics
Participants explored key Islamic principles, interfaith dynamics, and practical strategies for presenting Islam clearly, respectfully, and confidently. Trainers also discussed contemporary issues to prepare participants for real-life engagement with non-Muslims.
- Group Presentations
Participants worked in four teams for collaborative presentations, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and active participation. Small prizes were awarded to recognize their effort and enthusiasm.
Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony was attended by MUIP representatives:

- Chris Lim Cheng Wei, Penolong Pegawai Dakwah
Their presence highlighted MUIP’s continued support for outreach initiatives within the Orang Asli community. All participants received certificates of completion. Mimi Nasara Binti Nordin was recognized as Best Student after achieving a score of 85.5 percent. Graduates now return to their communities equipped with knowledge, confidence, and the skills to share the message of Islam with sincerity and compassion.
