Volunteer Program

IDT Potluck Volunteer

You gave your time. Now, let us give you our hearts (and some Rendang!) 🌙✨

They say “many hands make light work,” but at IDT, your hands didn’t just work—they built a home for the Ummah.

You’ve been the heartbeat of our programs, the smile at our registration desks, and the silent strength behind every Muallaf’s journey.

Now, it’s time to put down the clipboard and pick up a plate.

The Event: IDT Syawal Potluck with Volunteers 🥘🤝

This isn’t just a meal; it’s a reunion of the souls who make IDT what it is. We want to celebrate YOU. Your participation hasn’t just been “help”—it’s been a transformation.

What’s on the menu?

  • Brotherhood & Sisterhood: Deepening the bonds we built in the trenches of Dawah.
  • Appreciation: A heartfelt “Thank You” from the entire IDT team.
  • The Potluck Spirit: Bring your favorite Raya dish, share your story, and let’s feast!

The Field Da’wah Workshop (FDW) is a two-day intensive training program organized by the Interactive Da’wah & Tarbiyah Association Malaysia (IDT), designed to prepare participants for real-world da’wah engagement.

Day One focuses on training and knowledge preparation, covering the fundamentals of da’wah, ethics of dialogue with non-Muslims, understanding common misconceptions about Islam, effective argumentation, public speaking skills, body language and communication techniques, as well as methods for responding to sensitive questions with wisdom, calmness, and empathy.

Day Two emphasizes hands-on field practice, where participants apply what they have learned through direct interaction with the public. Participants will engage in real-time da’wah conversations, receive guidance from experienced facilitators, and obtain constructive feedback for improvement.

This workshop aims to build confidence, develop ethical and knowledgeable da’wah practitioners, equip participants with practical communication skills, and present Islam as a religion of mercy, understanding, and peace.
The Field Da’wah Workshop IDT is a transformative experience that prepares participants to convey the message of Islam with clarity, wisdom, and confidence.
