18–19 July 2026 | Dawah Academy International, Wangsa Maju
Alhamdulillah, the Sirah Nabawiyah Course organised by Interactive Dakwah & Tarbiyah (IDT) was successfully held over two meaningful days on 18 and 19 July 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at IDT Centre, Level 1, Wangsa Maju. Delivered by Dr Jefri Irwan Harris, Master Trainer and Founder of Geng Sirah, the programme brought together 47 participants on the first day and 43 participants on the second day from diverse backgrounds with a shared goal: to learn about the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and understand how its lessons can be applied in daily life.
Throughout the programme, participants were introduced to the life, struggles, character and teachings of the Prophet ﷺ through sharing sessions and discussions. Sirah was not taught merely as a collection of historical events. Participants were encouraged to reflect on the wisdom behind each event and understand how the life of the Prophet ﷺ continues to guide Muslims in facing challenges and developing good character.
The sessions also highlighted the values of patience, courage, steadfastness and noble character demonstrated by the Prophet ﷺ. Participants were encouraged to connect the lessons from the Sirah with their own experiences and challenges in daily life.
The programme concluded with a reflection session where participants shared the lessons they had gained throughout the two days. They were reminded that learning about the Sirah is not simply about knowing the events of the Prophet’s ﷺ life, but also about striving to follow his example and embody his teachings and noble character.
Through the Sirah Nabawiyah Course, IDT hopes that participants will develop a deeper love and appreciation for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and continue to look to his life as a source of guidance and inspiration to become better Muslims and individuals.
